Out Of All The Snails We Keep Over The Years These Are Our Favourites As They Really Keep Tanks Clean And Have A Far Longer Life Expectancy Than Others.
These are absolutely superb snails and look great with interesting shaped shells. They have a ravenous appetite and spend most of their time cleaning live rock and glass of nuisance algae. They are known to eat hair algae, cyanobacteria, diatoms and many other types of algae and are a valuable addition to every clean up crew.
If you have an algae problem these guys will be your best friend.
It is advised to add one snail for every 2 gallons of water.
These snails require to be acclimatised slowly over a period of hours using the drip method.
