Please note that we have found the best way to care for these Ricordea’s long term is to acclimatise carefully and slowly over a few hours, they are very intolerant to changes in lighting, we have found the best policy whilst acclimatising them to your lighting is to place them in a very shaded area and let them adjust  , in most cases they will eventually over a period of a week or more stretch for more lighting, this is the time to move them into slightly more light , do this gradually over weeks / months until they are settled , they should never really need super bright lighting.
