In our opinion, one of the most beautiful corals that you can keep in the marine aquarium, bright orange in colouration.   Because of international wildlife trade regulations under CITES,  Dendrophyllia colonies or frags are rarely available in commercial UK fish stores or online hobby sites. These are Australian corals and we have not had them available for years.   These glorious corals will add some stunning colouration and movement to your reef.  They take a bit of care but the rewards are huge.

 Non-Photosynthetic (NPS): They lack zooxanthellae (symbiotic algae) and do not get energy from aquarium lighting

Target Feeding: They require manual, frequent target feeding (3 to 5 times per week) with meaty foods like mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, cyclops, or finely chopped prawn

Lighting & Flow: Place them in shaded or low-light areas with gentle water movement that allows the polyps to extend and catch food without washing it away
